Enjoying your stay with us or hosting your event here is knowing what to expect. The questions and answers below are for your convenience, but confirm and follow the directions of our on-site staff.
Are the homes pet-friendly?
Some are! Please confirm the details on each home's listing page or check with our staff before booking. As a general rule, pets must be leashed at all times when outside. Kennels and tie-outs are available upon request.
What should I bring with me? Are linens and towels provided?
The basic essentials (sheets, bath towels, toilet paper, etc.) are provided and the kitchens are equipped with plates, bowls, cups, utensils and appliances. Bring your clothes and food and enjoy!
Is there a dock or water access?
Yes! Some houses feature private dock access, and there is a kayak and paddleboard launch nearby.
Do you provide special gear for kids or babies?
Yes! A pack-and-play, high chair, kiddie pool, and sprinkler are all available upon request.
Is there privacy?
Yes. Each home is situated to maximize privacy, and there are no shared living spaces. We’re nearby if you need anything, but we fully respect your privacy and space.
How do I check in?
Check-in is automated via lockbox or keypad, depending on the house. Full details and access codes will be provided before your arrival.
Is the Wi-Fi good for remote work?
Yes. Our guests regularly work from their accommodations with no issues.
Can I wander around the farm?
Feel free to explore the grounds! We just ask that you be mindful of other guests and the animals. Because this is a working farm with free-roaming chickens and local wildlife, please keep pets leashed at all times and stay aware of your surroundings.
Is this a working farm?
Yes, it is. You can expect to hear the natural sounds of roosters and sheep each morning. Do not feed or touch the animals.
Do you provide firewood?
We do not provide firewood, but you are more than welcome to bring your own to use in the fire pit.
Is there AC?
Yes. Each home is equipped with climate control for both heating and cooling. Our historical buildings have been retrofitted with central AC, while the cottages feature individual mini-split systems.
What is your cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy depends on the platform you booked your stay through. Check the booking confirmation for details.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Generally, check-in time is after 4:00 PM and check-out is before 12:00 Noon. Refer to your booking confirmation for details.
Is there parking on-site? How many cars are allowed per home?
Parking is free and plentiful within reason. Plan on approximately one vehicle for every two guests your stay is booked for. RVs and boats on trailers are welcome. Contact us for exceptions or more details.
Are there any farm products available for purchase?
Visit our Farm Market along Bobtown Road for local products available for purchase.
Can we interact with or feed the farm animals?
Please do not approach the farm animals. Do not feed, pet or attempt to collect eggs.
How far away is the nearest grocery store or restaurant?

Is there a grill available?
Yes! Most homes have an easily accessible charcoal grill. Bring your own charcoal to make use of this amenity.
